Chapter 5

In class, we read about intuitive arrangement. Within this chapter, it talks about grid deconstruction, which is the concept of overlapping elements and creating a grid in your design that is unique. Overlapping grids with different proportions can introduce an order to the spatial and directional uncertainty that layering creates. The other section of this chapter was about conceptual or pictorial allusion. This is when you derive a visual idea from the content and impose it on the page format as a random structure.
