Today in digital photography class, we started our first project. We are going to take photos of white objects on white paper and black objects on black paper. We talked about what the histogram should look like when taking these photos. For the white object, the histogram should be more towards the white end of the dynamic range, where the black object should be more towards the black end of the dynamic range. We have to learn how to control the camera to achieve the histogram needed.
