Today in class, we toured JDS Industries. We saw all the laser machines they use, along with the products that have been lasered. I learned about sanding on glasses. It gives a textured look/feel to your engraved work. We also learned about heat pressing polyester mugs and how the ink is integrated into the mug, ensuring your artwork is a permanent part of the mug and will not rub off. It was cool to see all the different products they offered to use in a laser machine and all that they actually do at JDS.
