Studio Portrait Photography

In photography class, we are learning about studio photography. We have learned about Butterfly lighting, Rembrandt lighting, Loop lighting, and Split lighting. It has been fun getting to set up the lighting and noticing the shadows each kind of lighting creates. Butterfly lighting will create a shadow under your nostrils and chin, Split lighting creates a shadow on half of your face, Rembrandt lighting will create an upside-down triangle under one of your eyes, and Loop lighting will have a shadow coming off the side of your nose.
